Proud 2 b this way!!!

I am from a place where we(most) don't feel comfortable to talk to gals (& vice versa) for time pass. This time pass talk we call as kadalai varuthal(in tamil). In english it can be translated to groundnut frying. The reason is something related with the prep of groundnut...
anyways tats not the topic.

Being 4m tat elite place, I really didn't get a chance to talk to gals and talking to gals though is not like a nightmare but still we (generally) avoid talking for 3 reasons.

1. Fellow friends wud make fun so we might not feel like taking a chance.
2. The society won't encourage rather they wud fear of the consequences.
3. We are expected to play a different level of game which is not our core competency (explained below)

for eg., A conversation between a guy and a gal... Wat i call groundnut frying is like this

Guy: Hi gud morning
Gal: hmmm gud morning
guy: How are u??
Gal: Fine n u
Guy: me 2, wats 4 brkfast...
gal: idli
Guy: same pinch even i had
gal: giggles
guy: with sambar or chutney...
gal: sambar
guy: hey again same pinch.. and the guy giggles
& the nonsense (sorry conversation) continues thereon

This is the level of game we might be expected to play,,,
Fine anyways,,,,,

When I joined MBA in a metro that too like mumbai I was totally in a culture shock.Metro ppl are more towards western culture though the Indian culture was and is good in many aspects.
Here though I slowly started changing due to the change in external environment. I had to climb the new peak in the college landscape.. Hmmm yes I started talking to gals still i feared while talking to gals: what if some of my friends saw and made fun. Hence in the MBA also most of my best friends where guys. When I make the previous sentence I fear how ppl interpret the sentence. This is the effect of this western culture. Ppl here started making fun of guys who talk to guys most of times. But they never know the background.

Now I fear in the future: what would happen if these westerners see ppl playin with dogs, similar animals or birds(who knows one day they wud make fun of tat also) dont know wat they might say... :)

I think atleast few of the guys who most often wont talk to gals would have experienced wat I have!!!

Don't worry guys we are the only few endangered species on earth still alive...may be someday we would be talked about in history books :)

I wud finally like to say!!!

We r Indians and allow us to be in the Indian culture... we are proud to be this way...
